Chinese Driver’s License is valid for 6 years.
I. Required Documents
1. Driver’s License issued in foreign country;
2. Passport with visa valid for at least 3 months. (No matter which city issued it, if you are holding the residence permit, it must issued from Shanghai);
Note: If Registration form from the Hotel, it should be printed the hotel address.
II. Procedures
1. Translating your original driver’s license. (our staff can come to you to pick up the required documents)
2. To enroll and have a medical check then appoint a time for the test (you must go to there with us, it need about 1hr).
3. Shanghai traffic rules examination. If you pass the exam, you will get your Chinese Driver’s License then and there(you must go to there with us, it need about 1hr).
Tips: Shanghai traffic rules examination is taken on computer terminals. Selectable languages are English, Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish and Russian. There are 1500 questions, and 100 questions out of which will be tested. You pass the examination by gaining at least 90 points. The sample test paper can be sent to you by E-mail or you can come to our company on person to get it.
Time Needed: 2 Working Days(from book the test to have the exam about 2 weeks).
III. Service fee: minimun 1500 RMB (Including translation fee, government fee and escort fee)
Mode of payments: 1200 RMB is paid after enrolling, medical check and test appoinment. 300 RMB is paid after you pass the exam and get the driver's license.
Tips: If you failed the exam, escort fee 300 RMB each payment.
